The Spaced Repetition System
VocabFlow uses the Ebbinghaus Forgetting Curve to schedule your reviews at the most effective time. When you practice a word, our system updates its mastery level based on your performance:
Correct Answer
Increases word level. The next review will be scheduled further in the future (up to 90 days).
Incorrect Answer
Resets the word to Level 1. It will be scheduled for review again within 24 hours.
AI Voice & Caching
When you click the speaker icon for the first time, our AI generates the audio and saves it to Firebase Storage.
A green icon means the audio is cached for instant playback.
Don't waste time typing! When adding a word, type the English term and click AI Auto-fill.
The system automatically generates the definition, part of speech, and translations in Japanese and Chinese.
